Well, yanno, *that* is a big part of it, there are racks upon racks of white people who are deathly affraid of the "R"" word, threaten to use it, and they run for cover, conceeding whatever point was under contemplation at the time. Don't get me wrong, there is a great deal of injustice that was wrong, and which needs to be undone. And I try to reach across that abyss, whenever it is practical to do so. <br /> <br />But at the same time, I see many of the knee jerk solutions designed to resolve our problems as equaly racist, and the mere mention of same draws the ire of the protagionists to call me "'racist" as the result. <br /> <br />I've taken the view that to be called "'racist", by a racist, is nothing to be ashamed of. I simply encourage them to produce evidence that any of my PRACTICES has ever done anything more than help someone. <br /> <br />They can't do it, and it drives them nuts
