I have spent 15 years running standard guage steam, deisel, and electrics at Illinois Railway Museum, and 10 years running miniture trains. <br />I have all versions of Trainmaster, and just got MSTS. <br />I think these programs do a good job of replicating the action of the trains, but cannot create the gut rummbling feel you get on a real locomotive. <br />I hope someone produces a control stand add on as using the keyboard for input is one of the games weakest points.
