Amtrak vs Car (again)
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 1:48 PM
The noon news today reported that about 2:15 am, the Texas Eagle struck a car in Little Rock, Arkansas, killing one of the three occupants of the car. Little other news was available and there was no video on the noon news.

Perhaps the 6 pm news will give more details. If so, I will add them.

Yes, they had a problem in Missouri. Rain had caused some rocks to fall onto the tracks.

I watched 2 different newscasts tonight and neither of the other two major TV stations said anything about the accident in Little Rock.

I do wonder that was the occupant that died of the car that got struck, was it the driver?? Or one of the passangers? I also wonder if the car was T-boned or cliped? I'm mos certain it was T-boned. If that is the case I'm sure the driver died.

God bless the families involved.
