I'm planning to build a diorama depicting the Railroads Building at the 1939-40 New York World's Fair. Does anyone here know where can I find drawings, pictures or any data that might help? if anyone here actually visited the fair, help would be very appreciated.

Take a look at the all-time railhobby magazine index. Trains some time in the early 70's, I think, did a story on the Fair and John Hungerford, who produced it. There were photos enough to help you out.
