This little beauty was in our yard yesterday. http://uptrain.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=194932

http://uptrain.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=194933 .

Can anybody tell me what MRLX means? The unit was MRLX 333. I heard it was owned by National Railway Equipment Company or NRC. Can anybody help me?

National Railway Equipment is NREX. On several websites I read that it was owned by NRC, it also is headed for NRC, supposed to be there October 3rd or 4th.

Best I could come up with for MRLX is:

MRLX, Mid America Railcar Leasing LLC. The reporting marks were added 10/2003; eliminated 4/2004

Chicago will do quite nicely, Metra has a huge fleet of F40PH's in suburban service on most lines.
The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
