I'm a novice at trains, but I found an old photo and wanted to find out what railway and date it was in service. The only info that I can provide is the no. 951, it appears to be a 2-8-0, but it has a truck (the thing that contains the wood) attached to the back that looks like it has 4 wheels. The photo is at a weird angle and it is hard to tell if indeed it is a 2-8-0 or a 2-8-2. There is a man in the photo and he is wearing a plain suit and a derby hat. So I am guessing the age of the photo to be early 1900's. Anyone who can give any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is there any way you could scan the photo and post it where any of us could see it?
This would be the most expedious way to ensure that you might get an identification.
Otherwise, it's almost a hopeless cause.
