Train Shows on RFD-TV
Posted by swknox on Thursday, September 15, 2005 12:15 AM
How many of you out there have been watching the RFD-TV channel (Channel 379 on Direct TV) with its number of train shows on the air at various times. So far I have seen at least three shows on there, 1. The Train Show. 2. Trains & Locomotives. and 3. Great Layouts. All shows seem to be pretty good and geared towards train buffs and hobbiest. Just thought you all would like to know if you didn't.
Cool site to visit http://www.trainweb.org/peninsularailfan/index.html - local site, very cool http://crcyc.railfan.net/ - Conrail site, also cool http://www.thedieselshop.us/MPR.html

I have been watching the Trains programs for about six months now, and have taped most of the 'Trains & Locomotives' series.

It is IMPORTANT to go to the RFD-TV home page and fill out their 'Reader Survey' to help ASSURE that these great programs continue !

Too bad you can't get it on cheap cable. Have to buy my own videos.

I have taped many shows off of this network. I have it on Dish Network CH 9409. I too have recorded many of the 'Trains & Locomotives' series. Another train show is 'Grand Scale Trains'. I watch these on Sundays.
