1. The SD45-2T and th SD45T-2 are the same locomotives. It is probably just different spelling designations like there is with the AC4400s on different railroads. <br />2. Some older locomotives had remote controls in their noses which accounts for the longer noses. Anyone else feel free to correct this information if it is inaccurate.
