Fox News is showing real time shots of a large fire near a rail yard. I spotted several covered hoppers. This was at 0939 hrs Eastern time Saturday.

I heard that fire boats were in the area before putting out a fire only now to find them up and in flames again. It almost looks like a natural gas line that wasn't shut off is to blame.
I wonder how useful some water-bombers would be for something like that.

I asked a friend of mine who is a gas man for a local utility, about why they were keeping the line pressurized with natural gas. He said that if they shut the line down & let the gas vacate then it would be very difficult to reopen the line if water filled the system.

Ya I saw a BNSF C44-9W was in no harm. But I was more worried about what is in those Tank cars[:O]very close to that fire.
