Um all the ones marked RS are in Rock Springs, GR are in Green River, and the ones marked Peru were taken at the top of Peru Hill. She was powering up Peru Hill and traveling about 60 Mph. What a beautiful sight!

SP9033- Is this a good redemption for missing the heritage train pics, and the hospital train??

Yes, railfan redemption is yours![:D] I get my chance next week. I'm still thinking just where I'll catch her, either between Elko and Winnummca or Doyle Crossing and Portola. It will probably be Doyle Crossing and Portola.

Great photos. I like the photo #3 I have a photo similar displayed at my house. I took mine when I rode it to Poplar Bluff a few years ago. I always like the shots of the steam releasing.

Hey all [:)]

I got some good photos of it over a year ago. [;)]

IF you go and take photos of it, ALSO take along some hearing protection.

THAT THING IS VERY LOUD IF YOU ARE CLOSE TO IT.

Actually, the diesels on the neighoboring mainline were louder than the challenger was, isnd i was only a few feet fron the challenger and like 15 from the diesels.
