The FBI cleared me today
Posted by robscaboose on Monday, August 15, 2005 3:43 PM
I got a call from the FBI agent on ther - Joint Terrorism Task Force investigating me for taking pictures of an Amtrak Train. They are returning my negatives back to me. File closed, but still in the system.

Rob

PS

Last week all the local & state police were checking out a RR Bridge outside of Greenup Ill. Someone saw someone put "black boxes" under a RR bridge. Turns out to be the local health department was catching misquotoes to check for "West Nile" disease.

To think...we've been vigilant against terrorists...when in reality our real problem is mosquitoes.

Of course I am just kidding, trying to give you some [(-D][(-D]. So please don't take me seriously and chew my ear out.

Too funny..but....

In all seriousness.....at least someone was paying attention........If I saw someone sticking something I couldn't identify under bridge I might be concerned too....better safe than sorry.....

Totally agree, I am glad someone noticed somebody placing a "black box" under a bridge. Better safe then sorry.

I looked at Rob's profile and past posts. I don't think he's done anything or will do anything to get in enough trouble to be "screwed for life." Remember, his wife already grounded him!

We used to PLAY under a major interstate bridge as children. The height and reach on it gave us a rite of passage sort of thing. Cowards did not cross it. It shook every time a semi crossed it too.

Those days are gone forever. I am glad that the FBI cleared you.

BNSF, as in good ol' days, do you refer to the Civil War era when Lincoln suspended the right of Habeus Corpus?

My 12 year old daughter is in "the system".
She has a passport, visited England last year.
In fact, she was pulled from the line at the airport, and searched, because she was the only one in her group wearing black sneakers.
Seriously, thats what the lady said, the black shoes warranted a personal search.
My wife was with her, of course, and it was a fairly through search, but still, black sneakers?

But Dan gave you the facts...unless you dont drive, use only cash, have no social security number, and never paid taxes...your "in" the system.

Talk about being in the system! My fingerprints are on the FBI file at least three times. Once from military service, once to be licensed to sell mutual funds and, in fact more than once to be a mutuel clerk at the local greyhound race track. For all I know, comes the day, they will pull another set while I am still in the back room of the local funeral home.[angel]

That will be to make latex molds of them for gloves, to leave bogus fingerprints behind when they guys from the black helicopters sneak into BNSFs house to wiretap him......[alien]

If the Fibbies were at all sporting, they'd give you a Get Out of Jail Free card.
