Hi all.
Can anyone tell me if BNSF have any Orange & Green SD-75's? And if you know the engine No's?
Also does anyone know what the White box on the top of some of the SD-75 Cabs is?
Thanks for all the help...TYPAN

BNSF has slowly started repainting it's SD75's in the 'heritage II paint scheme. I don't have the engine #'s. They have been repainting the 'safety cab' models in the 'heritage II' scheme and the switcher engines in the 'heritage I colors.

I have seen a couple dozen SD75's in the Heritage II paint scheme. I think that BNSF could have picked better colors but that is just personal opinion.

Yep, they are repaints. I saw one the other night in the yard that was marked SD75MAC. Figure that one out. Me thinks that the shop that painted it had a poor ventillation system and the fumes got to the guy runnin the stencil.

Hi There.
I will have to agree with that, It does look a pit like 'baby **** and slime! but i need a proto train for my display. Maybe some day they will change it again. Just keep complaining to them. LOL...

Hi and Thanks.
Those numbers do look a bit high. Are they renumbering them as well or did they buy new ones?
Also if it not too much can you email me some of the picks you have of them please? send to
