I would imagine the amount of paint consumed keeps hobby shops in business. Let's just say that I wont buy models of train stuff with grafitti on them. The fact that locomotives are now showing grafitti tells me it's time to get rid of the expensive multi colored paint schemes that executives like to dream up and just spray primer on the locomotive with the required markings. IF it gets tagged again then another shot of primer takes care of the problem cheaply.
