You know,
I can ride point on a 100 car shove, at 20mph, riding a covered hopper or a tank car 14 feet up, and not blink a eye about it.....

but you couldnt get me half way up that pole for all the tea in China!

Go right on ahead and enjoy yourself....[:D]

Hay that does look like fun :) I would have fun doing that but, unfortunitly I would find a way to create and arc somewere and fry myself or damge someone or something else. I'm having tremendous trouble understaning my Electricy and Electronics course. :( For right now I'll stick to ice climbing and rock climbing :)

Isn't Union apprenticeship so good! So what's your point?

Are you higher than a brake platform? If so, no, thanks!

Don't think so - no union down here. This is a class I put on for our member cities to send their linemen to for training.

Just something I have been upto.

Where did that fry the man picture come from? That does not look like a normal situation for that man on the pole.

I guess with a lineman's job things are always looking up. It's never the end of the line and it is always good to the last drop.

I dont mind heights in a plane at anything over 3 stories death is inevitable. It's the first three stories in height that makes you shake in anxiety thinking endless questions such as will I fry? What if I slip? Suppose I fell? etc etc etc..

That makes you old before your time, relax, do your safety and enjoy the view. Not too many folks can get into high places and still have friends in low places.
