Did you read the Friday 5/6 news wire article and the Soo Line Line 2719?
The article states that the locomotive is the only in the Midwest that is on the National and Wisconsin Register for Historic places. Somebody forgot about C&NW 1385 at North Freedom, WI which is also on the both registers!![?][?][:)]

Its not a locomotive, but Duluth,Missabe, and Iron Range RR buisness/parlor car, The Northland, is the Minnesota and National list.

Mechanical Department  "No no that's fine shove that 20 pound set all around the yard... those shoes aren't hell and a half to change..."

Sorry, It is a locomotive a 1923 Alco that is currently in Eau Claire, WI, so it would be on the Wisconsin and National List, not Minnesota. This is the same engine that was suppose go to Montana for excursion service before the deal fell through. Now its going to to be going to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Duluth for excursion service there.
