I'm looking for accounts of the run of the M-497 jet-propelled RDC3 car on the New York Central in 1966.
Also photographs that haven't been in every magazine known to man.

There are some wonderful photos and info on the M-497 jet-powered RDC-3 in the book, RDC: The Budd Rail Diesel Car, by Donald Duke and Edmund Keilty, 1990, Golden West Books. I believe the pictures and info on the M-497 are on pages 102-104.

Trains mag. had an article on this. I think it was in 1986? Check with the back issue dept.
