Just think about it look how long steam was around and some of the engines are still operating after being rebuilt. Why would you want to rebuild a diesel engine. Think about all of success of the steam engine. All of the different types of engines from the little 0-4-0 to the 4-8-8-4. No diesels will ever match these engines. Ross
