The cement plant in my home town still uses them. The loading dock Is on a slight incline so when they are finished loading a car they release the brakes and the car rolls down the track to the correct siding. Because the cars roll silently they put torpedoes out whenever someone is working down track. They recently changed the rules. Each shift must take inventory and account for any missing torpedoes. <br /> TIM A
