new to this and was wondering what distance my layout would be in Real Miles. I have 151 feet in Mainline, and 52 feet in a total of 3 yards, all in N-scale.
Can any one help me on this question?

Your best bet here is in the Model Railroader Forums. I believe the ratio for N Scale is 1 to 64, so 1 of your layout feet would be 64 real feet.

The N scale ratio 1 to 160 so multiply your layout measurements by 160 to find the real distance represented.

HO is 1:87. N is 1:160. O is 1:48 (most of the time!). S is 1:64

151 feet in N scale is 4.6 miles in N scale

(151 x 160 / 5280 = 4.6)
