Hi everyone my name is Rodney and I just graduated from locomotive ergineer training. I work for the BNSF in Illinois so i am the baby engineer in town for about 2 months until the next group graruates. When I finely get to work as an engineer I will go back to the pool as a conductor.

Congratulations Rodney!!! I bet you can't wait to get into the engineers' seat. I know I can't! (and I just started as a conductor)! I'm going to wait awhile until I enter the engineers program though. They say you have to be really familer with the rules and if you screw up your done with. AWWW!!! Do you ever run up to savanna or lacrosse at all? Right now I'm working out of savanna for a local. The engineer newhires up here in Lacrosse are all going back to conductors too, wonder how long this will last? Anyway Congratulations and stay safe.

To LC CSX and others I had the check ride from the road foreman and my card has been signed it is now offical for the BNSF. Now that I am the baby engineer it is time for the forceing to begin for at least 2 months that is when a new class of enginers will graduate from Overland Park Ks.

rodney congrates but remeber this you will learn the most your first solo run. but its more fun sitting on the right hand side of the engine( except for weight gain) when you are in emergency and its 2 ft snow cold and wind is blowing and you dont haft to walk it. you feel sorry for the conductor then look out the window. and then lean back and take a nap.
