There was this movie I once saw where a house was built on an abandoned line. Anyways .. the story goes: there's a kid in the house, his parents, and the grandfather. Well Grandpa told the kid a story about when he was young he was playing on the now abandoned track which was active at the time of his childhood with passenger train service. As he was playing on the tracks, the engineer saw the boy and hit the emergency brakes. Something malfunctioned and all hell broke loose. The train derailed and every passenger perished. The boy (grandfather in the movie) was unhurt, but he witnessed the carnage and it weighed heavily upon him every day of his life.

Now some 60 or so years later, that same train returned down the abandoned line and crashed through the house. The souls of the people were onboard. It stopped to pick him up (he had a ticket).

Does anyone here know what movie I'm referring to?
