Actually, sometime in the past wasn't there was a strike or some other labor action that stopped some of the trains, but I don't recall if that was "Amtrak only". And, I think it was before 9/11, when you could "walk up" to buy an airplane ticket w/o going through lengthy security screenings. <br />[/quote] <br /> <br />I can't see how a shutdown could avoid including NJT, MN, MBTA and others that operate over Amtrak dispatched and or owned lines. <br /> <br />LC.
