I don't know if that's the first time for the Chief going via St Louis but I know of many Amtrak detours. When I was on the Milwaukee, 9&10 plus 7&8 were routed through Madison WI account flooding. When I was on the South Shore the Lake Shore was routed over the interurban to South Bend a couple of times. <br />Mitch
