I live in Byers, CO next to the Kansas Pacific line from Denver to Topeka. UP came through and added signels to several sidings and spent last summer replacing ties, inproving grade crossings and replaced several siding switches. Since then there has been an increase in unit coal trains heading east and freights west. In the past couple of months there have been unit autorack trains with articulated autorack cars. The train times seem random but average about 5 - 8 a every 24 hours. I was hoping to find a schedule so I could be ready to take pictures. <br />
