Frailey's Twilight of the Great Trains

This is a great book. I'd really love to see a sequel.

While the last years of private passenger service on many of the most important roads were given excellent coverage, I think it would be great to provide coverage to for other lines that didn't make the book, particularly while those with first hand knowledge are still with us to share their experiences. Those roads already covered provide a great cross section and representative sampling but even though the stories of other lines may be very similar, the details and obviously the trains involved will be different and I for one would enjoy reading about them.

Would others enjoy a Twilight of the Great Trains Part Two or Twilight of the Also-Rans? :)

I would love a sequel as well. I can recommend the following books which cover pax service up to and inc Amtrak:
Great Nothern Pictorial- Vol 5 -John F Strauss jnr

-Route of the Eagles(MP in the sreamlined era)-G Stout

There is also 2 great volumes out on the Southern Pacific- Daylight trains of the coast and night trains of the coast- highly recommended
