TheFW&WRR has been attempting to purchase a ten wheeler locomotive, a sister of the one they already have, from Roseville, California? Does anyone know if they were successful?
The Pacific locomotive in Cleburn, Texas is gonna be refurbished and will turn up south of Fort Worth as the Cresson Flyer in two years. The FW&WRR attempted to purchase it, but would not make a deal with the city of Cleburne. Cleburne wanted the locomotive to embark there....Looks as if the FW&WRR lost out.....

Now that the city of Grapevine runs the Tarantula, it would seem to be a natural to try to aquire the services of #1744, a 2-6-0 which was refurbished in Ft. Worth for an unsuccessful tourist operation in New Orleans.
