Hi Kev, <br />I have a uniden bearcat and it hasn`t let me down once!!!I bought mine from sears.BEWARE don`t buy a cheap scanner,you get what you pay for and you wouldn`t want a piece of crap!!!! I spent about $150 dollers on mine and it`s not top of the line,but a uniden bearcat will never let ya down. <br />Let us know what ya get. <br /> Nathan
