If they would use better materials the roads would last longer.[/quote]</p> <p>You should be honest, the OTR trucks are destroying the roads. That the trucks got ever heavier accelerated the process. Most highways were built when trucks were a lot lighter.</p> <p>No question, you can build roads better suited for today's trucks. But you need more than just better materials you need a completely different pavement structure from the subgrade up. </p> <p>And then there are still the existing roads.<br />Regards, Volker</p> <p>Edit: And someone would have to pay for better roads and quite possibly it might be the trucking industry.</p>
