Another Train Collision?
Posted by AntonioFP45 on Friday, February 4, 2005 2:40 PM
Guys,

Caught the tail end of a news fla***hat a freight train rear ended another on a single track mainline. One of the freight cars was on fire. Looked like a car carrier but I could be mistaken. No deaths, but one crewman injured.

I couldn't tell if this was old news or it just happened.

Seems like Fiscal Year 2004-2005 is seeing an epidemic of train mishaps. I really feel sympathy for our hardworking train crews in the U.S, Canada, and Mexico and the stresses they must endure.

Anyone have info? If it's old news, my apologies.

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"
