Should beer companies have their own roadrailers?-poll

FYI--Manufacturers Railway Co in STL was started and is operated by Anheuser Busch primarily to ship its beer. Busch got tired of paying freight rates to others so he formed his own common carrier and saved a bundle. <br /> <br />And I agree with Mark. I can see no good reason for subbing RBLs etc with roadrailers. High volume beer operations in major metro areas are generally still set up for carload freight, which can handle the volumes better than a fleet of trucks (especially when the brewery owns the cars and is the originating carrier).
