At WABIC tower just east of the Wabash passenger station at Decatur, IL, five tracks of the Wabash crossed three tracks of the IC at very close to 90 degrees - that's right - fifteen diamonds in less than a football field. Listening to an IC coal train going across there was a hoot! <br /> <br />And I once drove from Decatur to Taylorville just to listen to a train of loaded ore jimmies on their way to Granite City go across the B&O diamond at 35 MPH.
