Electro pneumatic brakes Noel? They have allready been used on the BNSF on unit coal trains and none that I know of are in service anymore. The boxes sit on the control stand dormant.
X-ray knuckels, because the only time that they fail is due to metallurgical faults? Nope! Not always (went to school for metallurgy). An engineer avoids these problems by proper trainhandling, that the computer cannot calculate. You have no idea how these things work, do you?
Your reply to knowing GCOR rules (which I know and you do not, obviousely). Once the train has gone into emergency and if the trian falls into certain speed (at the time of the emergency app.) and weight criteria, the computer will walk the train and verify that nothing is on the ground. Sure ***! I have yet to see TWDs pick up a flat wheel...maybe in your classroom, but not in the real world. So you are telling me that all knuckles are rated at 80,000#s......hmmm, news to me. It is apparent that you are well out of your realm on the subject. You and Orson Wells have alot in common, you both dream crap up. Like I say, you have no idea what the RCT (GE) and RCO (Canac), or beltpack, not "manpack" are even capable of or incapable of. Like I said before, it is not up to us to prove to you our knowledge, it is up to you to prove your knowledge on the subject. You, sir are floundering. Stop before you make a complete fool of yourself.......
