There are few railroads that i worked for that had the spirit of the Milwaukee Road. The employees were an innovative group and are in demand today as their resourcfulness is needed in the industry.
Too bad we were stabbed in the back by the directors and the officers.

hi randy
I was born in 89 so I missed the milwaukee but it has always been my favorite ever since the my grandfather pointed out the old main line as we drove over snoqualmie pass and ever since when I we go over to chelan every april I always look at every time wishing it could be revivied even though I know it will never ( but I hope) happen. I also like the great northern because my greatgrandfather worked as a station agent in chelan. I guess you could also say I am an SP fan too. Funny all my favorites are fallen flags

Being raised around the good ol' Espee (Southern Pacific) ...they were my fav...I don't like all the mega mergers in recent years...so many clone looking locos...but what the heck...

This was the SP I remembered...

Mine is the ATSF and now BNSF. Warbonnet is the best color sceme I know.
My second favourite line is the UP, maily because of their powerful locs, such as the Big Boy.
