[/quote]</p> <p>Yes indeed!</p> <p>In 1970, according to National Transportation Statistics, Table 2-5, there were 3,559 Rail-Highway-Grade Crossing accidents resulting in 1,440 fatalities and 3,272 injuries.</p> <p>In 2013 there were 2,089 accidents resulting in 249 deaths and 952 injuries. </p>
