3 Word Story
Posted by Glen Ellyn on Saturday, December 25, 2004 4:59 PM
Rules, you have to put three words like or example, "On the day", or, "Once Apon A,". You have to type down something that relates to the other person's words. So lets say that I said, "On December 25." Another person would say something like, "Union Pacific #3300 came." or something like that. If it is a name more than 1 word that will be counted as 1 word like Union Pacific, Canadian National, Burlington Northern Santa-Fe, Glen Ellyn, Killr Wale, you get the drill. Please post the sentance in bold so that if a person has trouble seeing or reading. Plus, numbers count as words. Here are the first three words.

Union Pacific, #3300, came.

If you wanna play along it's under the
"Trains Version of another Never Ending Story."

...it's kinda morphed from 3 words into as many words as you want, but it's still going....

It's usually on the first few pages of the forum.

Oh what the hey, I'll play along. I've participated in similar threads on the Simple Minds site, and the stories can get real funny. f.y.i.- Simple Minds are an 1980's band from Scottland that made it big in the U.S.A. with a song called "Don't You Forget About Me," and they're still around today. Here's my contribution to the story thread: When suddenly, the

I had origionally started the Never ending story, after seeing the now defunct Model Railroader forum one go over 150 pages. A lot of people lept out of the rules in the last few months, and I finally abolished the 3 word rule and turned it to a paragraph thing. Check it out, it's going pretty good. Currently we're on the subject of restoring ALCOs, but who knows where it will go! We had a bunch of Big Boys running around the country a while ago, I forget what happened to them. We've had guest stars, like Mr. Kalmbach, ect, we've had weed weasels, you name it, we've probably discussed it. Come join that one, we could use more than the three or four of us posting regularly.
