The two green locomotives that Angelo saw in Queens belong to the New York and Atlanic Railway. They are two SW-1200's #9321 and #9373 aquired from NY&A's sister railroad the Louisville & Indiana still in thier old company's colors, green with a yellow stripe. They also acquired a GP-10 #201 (in Conrail colors) from the same sister road.

The NY&A is a little power short due to increased traffic and these locos will help free up some of NY&A's exLIRR cab signalled equipped locomotives for use on the main line while these new acquires can be used as trailers on the LIRR mainlines or by themselves in dark territory like the Bay Ridge and Bushwick Branches.

Angelo, what do you mean by "red New York Bell" units?? Do you mean the red CP Rail SD-40-2's that come the Fresh Pond Jct. three times a week?
