I think the problem can be fixed. All you have to do is just use some common sense. 1)Don't go onto railroad Property. 2)If you do get "Talked To" on public property treat the officer as a human too. <br />They're just out doin' thier jobs too. 3)If you are the member of a railroad club you might want to think about organizing what I Call a "Security and Safety Summit. My local train group had one tonight (3/1). It was a sucsessful endeavour and by the time it was over we had all been enlightened to what each other does for a living/hobby. I think railfanning is "FAR" from Un-American! You couldn't be any more American than to stand by and watch a train pass.
