KCS starting to park trains in Dallas - Ft Worth area.

Spotted two KCS trains in a siding parked waiting with just the marker and cab lights on, one looks like a sand silca unit train and the other general merchandise, both are in Plano, TX.      So it looks like the rail backup to South Texas has begun.

While the early predictions from the NHC don't suggest that Hurricane Harvey will head east, they have advised that interests further east into Louisiana should monitor the situation.  Large swells (not storm surge) are predicted as far east as Morgan City.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
