"Myth Busters" tank cars

ALL:

I watched the "Myth Busters" episode where they tried to implode two tank cars, one of which did implode.

Can anyone tell me the prior owners of those cars? The first one was stenciled that the car was condemned and moving to a scrap yard, while the second had a great deal of rust on the upper part of the freight car. How did "Myth Busters" obtain the cars  and how did the cars move to the shooting location? The first one had new trucks and wheels.

NP Eddie (Ed Burns):

Here is a link to the a recent TRAINS Forum that was on the "Mythbusters" Topic  @ http://cs.trains.com/trn/f/111/p/255724/2859911.aspx#2859911

"Is Trains Magazine covering the latest Mythbusters Episode of self imploding tankcar? "

You may also find additional subject topics (ie: Model Railroader forum, etc) by entering "implosions" in the Community Search window on the right side of the Screen.

Hope this helps!   There are also some links in those Threads that have some You Tube vids on the "Implosion" Topic by Mythbusters as well.
