Forgive me if this has been covered but it's been my understanding that Raton pass saw no traffic Other then Amtrak. Im traveling and today I was north of Raton and saw 5 trains between Trinidad and Walsenburg. Am I missing something?

Wrong piece of railroad.....What follows I-25 north of Trinidad is the old C&S [BNSF Spanish Peaks Sub.] including the coal train holding yard behind the old refractory.

(ATSF line follows US-350. They come together under/ just south of the US-160 Bypass/ Goddard Ave). They used to cross there before BN's major line change to avoid the loop in downtown Trinidad.

Mudchicken Nothing is worth taking the risk of losing a life over. Come home tonight in the same condition that you left home this morning in. Safety begins with ME.... cinscocom-west
