CP Rail operations Nelson-Trail?

I've done a reasonable amount of net research, and come up short.

Can anyone give me a very brief rundown on train origin, frequency and locomotive power on the CP Rail line to Trail BC?

The most recent information I had suggested something like a daily operation out of Nelson using three or four SD40-2s or GP38-2s.

I can vaguely recall reading something a while ago about CP Rail wanting to spin the line off to a shortline operator.

Any updates would be appreciated!

Any trains that would run on that route would originate in Nelson.

Not sure about the current status, though.

Pretty sure there isn't a shortline operater in that area, but I'm not certain.
