I like reading what MC (PDN as well) has to say about the various ground/soil challenges he's faced in his career. Having spent virtually all of my life in relatively dry areas, dealing with the likes of muskeg (or other messy saturated soils) is something I've never experienced. Reading about what it's like dealing with the stuff and means of mitigation is an enjoyable learning experience.
