Trackside with Trains Vol. 252: "Silhouettes" is open for submissions

Congratulations to Chris Paulhamus! His photo of the Alaska Railroad at Divida, Alaska is now in line to be published in the magazine.

This week's Trackside with Trains theme is "Silhouettes." 

Please submit your images by Noon CST Thursday, February 5, 2015, to [e-mail]. Voting will begin on Monday, February 9, 2015. The winning submission may get published in a future issue of the magazine.

The rules:

1. Send us your best photo on the topic at 1024 pixels wide. Please also have a high-resolution copy available should your photo win the contest for publication. Photo submission details will be double checked by Trains staff before print publication.

I presume the mountain in the winning picture for the "Mountain Backdrop" competition is "Pikes Peak" rather than "Peak's Pike"!  Nice spoonerism though.Nit-picking aside, all great images.
