I recall the <em>Trains</em> ran an article on that a few years ago. Railroads may favor that idea, but the same people have a lot of other ideas about doing things in the public interest. I wonder what the long haul trucking industry would think about being put out of business in the public interest. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana,geneva;font-size:small;">If it is in the public interest, why doesn’t the public build their own railroad?</span></p>
