America Proud- UPRR's latest Ad Campaign
Posted by samfp1943 on Friday, October 3, 2014 2:43 PM

Whistling   Over the last couple of days I've caught several different UPRR television advertisements.  They were unusual, in that they seemed to have a theme of patriotism.  The last screen shot is of a UP Diesel with its large 'mid-ship' American Flag.

It was an ad that left myself, the viewer, with a good feeling... Particularly, in what seems to be a season filed with the acrimony of the current term political ads... It was comforting to see a major corporate sponsor trying to bring back into the discussion, some of the values most Americans hold dear.

Was also wondering how many other Poster here had seen the adverisements and what their thouights were, as well?

Here is a link to the UP's site and the campaign info:   http://www.up.com/americaproud/index.shtml

First submission under new format...curious to see if this will work?

Well done commercial.
Evokes a little tug on the heart strings and a little spark of the patriot in me, which is what they aimed for, so it works as intended, I hope to see more of them.
