No offense intended, CShaveRR. The UP has a long and honorable history; however I ride the Capitol Corridor from the Bay Area to Sacramento and am frequently held up by UP traffic; so please excuse me if I give UP a hard time! <br /> <br />For example, once the Capitol came to a stop for no apparent reason and I asked the conductor why. He told me that because UP is centralized out of its HQ location, when there is a tornado warning in Omaha the whole railroad grinds to a halt!
