Trackside with Trains Vol. 240: "Elevation" is LIVE
Posted by D-Halv on Monday, August 11, 2014 10:24 AM

Good morning,

It's time to vote for your favorite photo in this week's Trackside with Trains competition. The theme is "elevation" and eight photographers are in the running.

Good luck!

All pictures were what was expected. So which showed elevation the best? The last one, John Trexlor's shows it best.

I went with Tom Nanos' picture.  We rarely see a good shop picture, which shows the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the trains running.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

I nearly gave this one a pass because they are all pretty equal to my eye.  Good pictures that I would be proud to have taken myself.  But after a few days of cogitation, I think I agree with Henry and voted for Mr. Troxler.
