People, Allow me to introduce myself. May I get a glass of cranberry juice and a wheat bagel with Philly Cream cheese? My name is "Jim" (as if there aren't enough Jims here already ... what's one more?) I'm 37, live in upstate NY and have taken a serious liking to railroading. I've always liked watching trains, but it was about 3 years ago when I initially started gravitating towards museums, shortline excursions, then about a year later, picture taking locally out around rail yards and on the mainlines. I'm a member at 2 other outstanding RR forums as well ('probably not proper to plug them here). I am looking forward to talking to each one of you, especially RR employees.
