Evening all!
CW and Mutt, so sorry to hear about your loss. They are members of the family. Don't know what I'll do when Harley (the wonder mutt) decides she's had enough. Sometimes I think she's going to outlive me. She too is the trainroom partner. She thinks she's the boss in the trainroom so I just go along with it to make her happy. Most of the time she just lays next to the bench and sleeps. I put her up on stool one time and let her watch trains. After about 15 seconds she just turned around and looked at me. You could almost read the cartoon balloon above her head " This is what you do up here? I thought there was food up here" Then she hopped down and assumed her position of command.
The chicken and dumplings are scrumptious!!!!! [bow]
Mook, could that old carpet be put to use in the trainroom? I am the worlds biggest packrat. I hate to throw anything away. I always have plans that I could "use that for something" That's why Mama hates when I go to an auction without her. I come home with a pickup load of (what I think) are usable items that Mama has a four letter word for.
Sarah, are you a Phillies fan? If you are, your boys missed a chance tonight. Was screaming at TV in the ninth inning. Dempster is not my favorite closer.
Jay, and the rest of the Wisconsonites, dont know if you're into RR memorabilia, but if you are there is a big auction coming up in Wisconsin. Here is the website. Make sure you take your wallet, everytime I go to one of these it usually costs me a grand.
www.gavinbros.com/auctions/parkhurst.html Lots of lanterns and stuff.
Well, am getting tired and it looks slow in here, so will drop in tomorrow.
