Interesting series of images.
But I may take Brandon Townley up on the claim that his shot is the "only curved metal truss bridge in the world." Here in Tauranga, New Zealand where I live we have a truss bridge that is curved at one end. The bridge is made up of 14 trusses and the western 7 trusses are on the curve. It is located at the south end of "The Strand, Tauranga, New Zealand" if you would like to look it up on your favourite mapping page.
I'm not sure but I think that there is another one in the South Island that has a curve in it.
So unless someone can explain to me that the bridge in Tauranga does not fit the bill "curved metal truss bridge", I think that Brandon needs to modify his statement to either "North America" or "USA".

I found Howard Pincus shot hilarious....similar to an old cartoon of two shafts of a tunnel not quite meeting. If you don't pay attention to details, it won't be right. Yeah, Howard tells a great story here.

I voted for Bill Gabert's photo. First of all, it involves a movable bridge, which I always find fascinating. Second, it's a construction site with 1001 things all going on at the same time.
So all you have to do is put the word "detail" in the description and you've got a contender?Anyway, I chose the Oshkosh drawbridge shot by Bill Gabert, too. It looks like I picked the wrong bridge, based on choices so far.

I did want to add that even before I read the description of Christopher Blaszczyk's photo I knew it was smoke and not steam. Must be due to my youth spent in a station. Weird what you don't forget, and what you remember when you don't expect to.
